EJCA is the abbreviation for Executive Japanese Communication Advisory, an advisory service operated by YSG HOLDINGS G.K. in Japan.

Why work with EJCA?

Why work with EJCA

Executive Japanese Communication Advisory is different from traditional language schools and conventional Japanese tutoring services.
Our advisors bring professional experience from fields such as global business, executive management, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, aviation, hospitality, executive support, and international corporate environments.
Rather than teaching Japanese as an academic subject, EJCA helps clients understand how communication works in real professional settings in Japan.
Clients gain practical insight into the language, expectations, behaviors, and communication styles that help build trust with colleagues, customers, business partners, and stakeholders.
The goal is not simply to speak Japanese correctly, but to communicate with confidence, credibility, and professional impact.

Your Advisory Journey

From your first inquiry to
practical communication
support tailored to your needs.

A Professional's Journey

“My ultimate goal was to communicate as naturally as a native Japanese professional.”

“From the very beginning, my advisor quickly identified the areas where I still needed improvement and consistently selected learning materials that addressed those specific needs. Rather than simply following a fixed curriculum, the advisor also listened carefully to my goals and feedback. In fact, some of the materials we currently use were suggested by me, making the lessons highly personalized and effective.”

“I have become much more confident using Japanese professionally. Communication within a Japanese company—which I once considered one of my biggest weaknesses—has become far more natural and comfortable than before.”

— Mr. A American | 30s

Communication in a Japanese Company
Became More Natural and Smooth

A Professional from US

International legal professional working in the legal function of a Japanese company

The learner had already passed JLPT N1 and was able to work in Japanese. The goal was to communicate with greater accuracy and naturalness in legal and business settings.

Advisory Focus

• Communication across a wide range of business and everyday topics
• Reading and vocabulary for legal and business documents
• Natural pronunciation, pitch accent, and intonation
• Understanding Japanese corporate culture and workplace communication

PROFESSIONAL VOICE 01

When I began the advisory, my Japanese was already at a level where I could use it reasonably well at work. However, my ultimate goal was to communicate as naturally as a Japanese professional.
My advisor quickly identified the areas where I still needed improvement and consistently selected materials that addressed those specific needs. Rather than taking a one-way approach, my advisor listened carefully to my goals and feedback. In fact, some of the materials we currently use were suggested by me.
My advisor also has a deep understanding of Japanese corporate culture, extensive international experience, and excellent English communication skills. Because of this, I was able to learn not only about the Japanese language, but also about the Japanese business environment itself. My advisor is always supportive and encouraging, which allows me to continue with confidence.
Since beginning the advisory, I have become much more confident using Japanese professionally. Communication within a Japanese company, which I once considered one of my weaknesses, has become far more natural and comfortable than before. I would highly recommend this advisory to anyone who wants to develop Japanese that is truly practical and effective for professional use.

N1 Plateau with Greater Confidence

A Professional from Mexico

International business professional working at a Japanese subsidiary

The learner had passed JLPT N1 and had extensive professional experience in Japan. The objective was to refine advanced external communication required in a demanding business role.

• Discussing business news and current affairs

PROFESSIONAL VOICE 02

After passing JLPT N1 and working in Japan for several years, I began to feel that I had reached a plateau in my Japanese. Advancing beyond N1 is extremely challenging because it requires much more than simply buying a new textbook and studying from it.
The advisory was invaluable not only for expanding my vocabulary but, more importantly, for helping me develop a deeper understanding of Japanese business culture. Through my advisor’s extensive professional experience and practical insights, I was able to understand not only the surface meaning of the language, but also the cultural and professional context behind it.
I believe that confidence makes a tremendous difference when communicating in a foreign language. Although I still have much to learn, I can now communicate in Japanese with far greater confidence than before.

CASE 03 IT

Practical Support That Continued to
Help After Starting Work

A Professional from China

International early-career professional working at a Japanese company

After obtaining the JLPT N1 certification, the learner moved to Japan and started looking for a job with limited knowledge of job hunting and corporate culture in Japan, the learner received practical support covering applications, interviews, and workplace communication.

Advisory Focus

• Clarifying strengths, self-introduction, and professional value
• Career direction and reasons for applying
• Japanese society, corporate culture, and business etiquette
• Application documents, business email, and interview communication

PROFESSIONAL VOICE 03

When I first came to Japan, I knew very little not only about job hunting in Japan but also about Japanese workplaces and society. The support from my advisor was an enormous help to me.
The sessions covered much more than the Japanese needed for job hunting. I also learned Japanese business etiquette, communication styles, and ways of thinking that have continued to be valuable since I started working. Even now, I often find myself thinking, “So this is what my advisor meant back then.”
Another thing I truly appreciated was my advisor’s sincere support. My advisor always took the time to understand my situation and provided not only professional guidance but also emotional encouragement. Job hunting was often stressful and uncertain, but thanks to the thoughtful advice and continuous support, I was able to stay positive and confidently pursue my goals.
I am now working at a Japanese company. Looking ahead, I hope to further improve my business communication skills so that I can take on more challenging and diverse responsibilities. To achieve that goal, I plan to continue refining both my Japanese and my professional communication skills.
